The Underprivileged Entrepreneurs Assistance Program is committed to empowering
disabled individuals and very poor people by helping them establish sustainable businesses.
Our mission is to identify these underprivileged entrepreneurs, understand their strengths,
and support them in creating viable businesses that can provide them with a stable income.
Our program focuses on:
– Identifying and reaching out to disabled communities and individuals living in extreme poverty who currently run unsustainable or inadequate businesses.
– Assisting these entrepreneurs in setting up proper businesses by leveraging their strengths and accommodating their unique needs.
– Providing training through our Entrepreneurs Enhanced Employment Program in collaboration with Believers Life Skills Trust to ensure they have the skills necessary to run
successful businesses.
– Connecting these entrepreneurs with local retailers and providing them with food solutions. We facilitate direct purchases from farmers, enabling these entrepreneurs to sell food within their communities at reduced costs.
– Reducing extra costs and transportation expenses by streamlining the supply chain, from farmers directly to consumers, thus lowering the overall price of food.
– Promoting environmental sustainability by using manpower and eco-friendly methods to reduce the carbon footprint associated with traditional supply chains.
Sustainable Development Goals:
This program not only helps entrepreneurs break the cycle of poverty but also addresses two crucial Sustainable Development Goals:
1. **No Poverty (SDG 1)**: By enabling sustainable business ventures, we lift individuals out of poverty and provide them with the means to support themselves and their families.
2. **Zero Hunger (SDG 2)**: By facilitating direct access to affordable, quality food from farmers, we ensure that nutritious food is available to underprivileged communities.
