Empower 100 EUP
Empower 100 EUP is a flagship initiative of Believers Life Skills Trust (BLST), founded in 2024 with the mission of eradicating poverty and hunger by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 1: No Poverty and SDG 2: Zero Hunger), the initiative aims to empower 100 economically underprivileged individuals through self-employment rather than short-term financial assistance.
The program primarily supports persons with disabilities and individuals facing severe economic hardship who are unable to engage in physically demanding work. Through a dedicated team of volunteers, beneficiaries are identified, authenticated through a transparent assessment process, and matched with livelihood opportunities suited to their skills and circumstances. Where required, they also receive training and guidance to successfully establish and manage their businesses.
Empower 100 EUP provides fully equipped small-scale business setups, such as food carts, while also supporting existing skilled workers by providing essential equipment and resources. This includes assisting tailors with sewing machines and materials, shoe menders with professional tools, and others with trade-specific support to strengthen their livelihoods.
By enabling individuals to earn a sustainable income with dignity, Empower 100 EUP seeks to create long-term economic independence, improve household well-being, and uplift entire families and communities through lasting, self-sustaining change.
Our Mission
To eradicate poverty and hunger by empowering economically underprivileged individuals
and persons with disabilities through sustainable livelihood opportunities. Empower 100 EUP
is committed to transforming lives by replacing dependency with self-reliance through the
provision of fully equipped small-scale businesses, trade-specific support, skills
development, and mentorship. Working alongside dedicated volunteers, donors, and
community partners, we identify, support, and empower deserving beneficiaries to achieve
long-term economic independence, restore dignity, and strengthen their families and
communities.

How It Works
Empower 100 EUP follows a structured and transparent process to ensure that support
reaches deserving individuals and creates lasting impact.
Identification of Beneficiaries
Our volunteer network identifies economically underprivileged individuals and persons with disabilities who have the potential and willingness to earn a sustainable livelihood but lack the financial resources to do so.
Verification & Needs Assessment
Each applicant undergoes a verification process to assess their financial circumstances, skills, experience, and business potential. This helps ensure that assistance is provided fairly and effectively.
Skills Matching & Training
Beneficiaries are matched with livelihood opportunities based on their existing skills and interests. Where needed, basic training, mentorship, and business guidance are provided to help them successfully manage their enterprises.
Business Setup & Support
Instead of providing one-time financial aid, Empower 100 EUP establishes sustainable income-generating opportunities. This includes setting up fully equipped small businesses such as food carts and providing essential tools, equipment, and supplies to skilled workers including tailors, shoe menders, barbers, mechanics, and other tradespeople.
Monitoring & Follow-up
Our volunteers maintain regular contact with beneficiaries to monitor progress, provide continued guidance, and address challenges. This follow-up process helps ensure that each business remains sustainable and continues to support the beneficiary and their family.

By enabling individuals to become self-reliant, Empower 100 EUP transforms charitable donations into long-term economic empowerment. Every successful business not only supports one individual but also improves the well-being of entire families and contributes to stronger, more resilient communities.
Our Impact:
Since its launch in 2024, Empower 100 EUP has positively impacted 30 families by providing
sustainable livelihood opportunities that promote dignity, independence, and long-term
financial stability. Rather than offering temporary relief, the initiative equips beneficiaries with
the resources and support needed to generate a consistent source of income for themselves
and their families.
Success Stories:
Musa Khan
Mussa Khan, a blind father of four, faced significant financial hardship due to his disability. Despite these challenges, he and his family were determined to build a better future. After a needs assessment by the Empower 100 EUP volunteer team, the family was selected for support.
The initiative established a fully equipped food cart for the family. As Mussa Khan’s son was willing to operate the business, he received the necessary guidance and training to manage the food cart effectively. This intervention enabled the family to begin earning a sustainable income, reducing their financial vulnerability and helping them move toward self-reliance.
Barkat Khan
Barkat Khan, an elderly man facing financial hardship, had long aspired to own a proper fruit stall to earn a stable livelihood and support his family. However, limited financial resources prevented him from turning this goal into reality.
Following an assessment by the Empower 100 EUP volunteer team, Barkat Khan was selected as a beneficiary. The initiative helped secure a suitable location for his fruit stall and provided the necessary setup, including the stall structure and essential equipment required to start the business.
With a stable place to operate and the right resources, Barkat Khan was able to establish his own fruit-selling business, creating a sustainable source of income and improving the well-being of his family.
His journey demonstrates how Empower 100 EUP transforms aspirations into opportunities by providing practical, long-term solutions that promote dignity, self-reliance, and economic independence.
Our Team
Dr. Aqsa Noor
Founder & Executive Director
Dr. Aqsa Noor is a medical doctor, author of Beyond Entry Test, and a dedicated member of Believers Life Skills Trust (BLST) since 2017. She founded Empower 100 EUP in 2024 with the vision of creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for economically underprivileged individuals and persons with disabilities. As Founder and Executive Director, she provides
the strategic direction of the initiative, oversees fundraising and donor relations, manages volunteer teams, supervises beneficiary selection and project implementation, and ensures
that every intervention creates a lasting impact. Under her leadership, Empower 100 EUP has helped families achieve financial independence through sustainable, dignity-driven
solutions.
Mr. Jahanzeb Khan
Field Coordinator
Jahanzeb Khan serves as the Field Coordinator for Empower 100 EUP and is the driving force behind the initiative’s field operations. With dedication and compassion, he visits
communities to identify deserving beneficiaries, conducts field assessments, verifies applicants, and coordinates with families throughout the entire process. From locating
individuals in need to helping establish their businesses, he works tirelessly to ensure that every project is implemented successfully and reaches those who need it most.
Mr. Haris Khan
Volunteer – Documentation & Community Outreach
At just 12 years of age, Haris Khan is the youngest volunteer of Empower 100 EUP.
Passionate about community service, he documents the initiative’s activities through photography and videography, capturing the stories and impact of each project. Alongside
his father, he also participates in community outreach, helping identify deserving individuals and contributing enthusiastically to the mission of empowering vulnerable families. His
commitment at such a young age reflects the values of compassion, service, and social responsibility that Empower 100 EUP seeks to inspire.
